Teflon®
KECO has been applying Teflon® Industrial Coatings for nearly 40+ years and is one of only 33 applicators in the United States licensed by Chemours. KECO’s portfolio consists of hundreds of fluoropolymer formulations including Teflon®, PTFE®, FEP® and Teflon® PFA® – designed to offer a wide range of nonstick attributes. KECO’s coatings will release virtually any substance including ink, glue, food, paint, varnish, adhesives, foam, rubber, and plastic. The applications include but are not limited to carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and glass.
KECO 100: A non-stick liquid Teflon® coating, it offers lubrication for heat-sensitive substrates and release properties resistant to extreme temperatures. This one coat process is excellent for low-friction and resists most aggressive organic and inorganic solvents. Available in a variety of colors, it is able to resist heat reaching up to 500°F and down to cryogenic temperatures. This FDA compliant coating is used for a wide variety of applications, including shoe, food, and rotational molds, mixers, rollers, printing press ink pans and sumps, hoppers, vibratory feeders, and dies. KECO 100-HAG: A PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) reinforced powder coating offering great non-stick properties, this coating is also formulated to provide abrasion and scratch resistance. Offering a smooth finish in light grey, it offers a three-coat overlay and it has release characteristics. The coating has a maximum temperature range of 500°F continuous and with a thickness of .005-.0010.
KECO 400P: A thermal barrier coating application offering release characteristics, it provides a thermal barrier characteristic that greatly reduces the amount of heat or cold that is transferred through the substrate. It also has a non-stick characteristic that enables pieces to slide easily across the substrate. Resisting most aggressive organic and inorganic solvents, its top coat is heat resistant up to 500°F. Examples of typical applications include glass containers and molds, turbine engines, vanes, cases, hubs, shafts, and high temperature applications. Click here for Product Data Sheet.
KECO 800: KECO 800: An electrically conductive coating system, end-users receive a smooth, coated surface providing excellent release and toughness through high levels of conductivity and the elimination of static charge buildup. Able to resist heat reaching up to 500°F and down to cryogenic temperatures, the coating is able to be used on flexible packaging idler rollers, ink pans and sumps, powder coating racks, adhesive tanks, paint fixtures, paint mixing tanks, and more.
